I am 26 years old and currently reside in York but I'm originally from Stamford, Lincolnshire. I work as a part time illustrator but hope that in the future I can be full time. I graduated as a Fine Artist in 2013 at Derby University and I'm currently taking my masters with the Open University in Art History. I am currently working on a portfolio to enter my first arts market (York River Art Market in August). From having my first arts stall I hope to gather what the public are willing to buy and which designs work best.
My style is a constant learning curve but I'm finding the more I draw the more I see my own voice within illustration. I mainly work with ink, pencil and pen. Often there is temptation to over complicate drawings so by limiting my materials I find that I have stronger minimalist art works. I base my drawings on positive puns which involve my love for nature.
